Meet Ted Zerrer, D.C.

Ted Zerrer Ted is in the Mancos River Studio on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3-6PM and Thursdays from 10-1and 3-6 PM. Please call him to set up an appt. at 970-903-1948.

Ted has been a Doctor of Chiropractic for his whole life; he graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic at the young age of 23!  His work as a chiropractor is transformative and life-changing—and doesn’t fit into the ‘box’ of typical chiropractic care.  Ted's practice is based on a wellness model.  Ted noticed that most people hold a baseline of tension in their bodies and addresses this with Network Spinal Analysis, (NSA).  Network Spinal Analysis is an evidence-based chiropractic technique that utilizes gentle and specific contacts to the spine to assist in promoting body/mind awareness, physical and emotional transformation, and a vibrant sense of well-being.  Through NSA, he helps people unwind their nervous system and enjoy a state of relaxation and safety that results in more freedom in their lives!  All the clients in the practice receive NSA and about half receive structural adjustments as well.  When people receive NSA before a structural adjustment, the adjustment goes in deeper, easier and lasts longer. The structural adjustments can be light or quite strong depending on the needs of the individual person.

Working with people through his chiropractic career has been one of Ted's great joys in life. He has started several wonderful practices in Durango including The Cafe of Life and then Z Chiropractic. Since moving over the hill to Mancos in 2010, he has thought about having a part time practice at The River Studio in downtown Mancos and we are delighted to have him!

As well as being a chiropractor, Ted is a personal and business coach/consultant, leadership facilitator, and a co-developer of The Whole Human Leadership and Organizational Alignment Model. He is a graduate of CTI’s leadership Program and also completed CTI’s Coaching Program. His life long dedication and passion for meditation and it’s profound effects has led him to dozens of leadership and mindfulness retreats over the years, both as participant and as a leader. He has served on the Boards of both the Durango Dharma Center and The Shanta Foundation.
Ted loves living in Mancos with his wife Katherine and their big, furry dog Moose and spends quite a bit of time hiking and being outside in our beautiful area. Ted is also the proud father of three incredible young men.
